73 YR OLD GRANNY KNOCKED DOWN BY CYCLIST WHO BEAT THE RED LIGHT

$

0

A 73 year old grandmother on her way to the wet market when she was hit and knocked down by a bicycle. She was about to cross the traffic light when the cyclist beat the red light dash through and rammed into her at speed.

Because of the forceful impact, the old lady fractured her left arm and suffered heavy bruising on her face.

How many more accidents like this has to happen before LTA or the Traffic Police will take firm action against errant cyclists? In this fortunate case, the old lady suffer only injuries, others may not be that lucky.

Time for the Government to show some moral courage and clamp down on cyclists who break the rules?

AMOS YEE REPOSTS ANTI-LKY VIDEO, DARES POLICE TO ARREST & SEND HIM TO RTC

$
0
0

<Facebook post by Amos Yee>

I have unprivatized the critically-acclaimed, banned youtube video ‘Lee Kuan Yew is finally dead!’. Oh yeah

The video that introduced singapore and the world to the awesomeness that is, Amos fucking Yee. Marvel at how I exploited lee kuan yew’s death to springboard my youtube career (not like I wouldn’t have become famous if lee kuan yew didn’t die; but it certainly made it faster :D)

And yes of course, the video is quite brilliant. Is it my best video? Naw… (The national day and election vids were probably better) But it’s definitely the most influential.
So now that I’ve blatantly disobeyed the court orders, I have also committed subjudice. And I’m just ‘unprivatizing’ the video, but they might deem it as ‘reposting’, which means I’ve re-offended again. Well if the police actually manage to find me (Ah-hah!) and send me to at least 18 months of RTC, might as well make the series of crimes more worth the time.

Of course, the singaporean government would want my video to be taken down, even though there might be a streisand effect once it’s reuploaded by another person (thank you boomerangdog). Taking down a post that became viral and having it reuploaded to various miscellaneous sources, makes it a little harder for people to search for and watch the video, and also less likely to stumble upon it if one searches a matching tag (For example, that blog post by Roy Ngerng that where he linked temasek holdings and city harvest funds that made him liable for a defamation suit, I’ve always wanted to read it, but because he was obligated to take it down because of the court order, and because I can’t find a cached version anywhere (can somebody send me a link?), I’ve never been able to read it), so why wouldn’t pap want to hide the fact that lee kuan yew is an absolute fucking cunt?

My opinion still stands, lee kuan yew is a disgusting piece of shit, a ruthless, manipulative dictator disguised as a compassionate ‘father’ to illogical, misinformed, dumb singaporeans, formed by 50 years of government propaganda and silencing of enemies by the ISD and defamation suits, constantly claiming credit for the economic prosperity of singapore (that was not him, it was Albert Winsemius, does anybody know who he is?), when really he has absolutely no talent in running a country, but only the talent to fool people to think that he does.

Lee kuan yew and his dick-sucking cronies has been propagating the claim that they are a ‘democratic country’ to suck up to foreign investors for decades, and it’s only until 2015, when this video made by muah became viral, that internationally it was known, that singapore is essentially north korea with a low corporate tax.
lee kuan Yew is an asshole, lee kuan yew is a cunt, lee kuan yew is a fucker, and my hatred of him has grown even once I’ve became more aware of singapore’s dark political history.

Singapore is an utterly fascinating new world dictatorship, and if I do successfully manage to escape prison I will continue revealing the horrid nature of pap and the lee ruling family, oh god I will.

Now why I privatized the video before really wasn’t because I agreed with the court order (of course), but because it was a great way to momentarily suck up to the prosecutor and judge, and escape 18 months of rtc. Would they because of the international pressure, still given me the exact same sentence even if I didn’t take down the video? I don’t know, Dodwell certainly didn’t think so, either way, I wasn’t willing to take the risk, and either way, the video is reuploaded again (for the…. 4th time? HAHAHAHA).

Cunt prosecutor hay hung chun took back what he said about wanting me to go to 18 months of rtc not claiming that it was because of pressure from the UN, countries all over the world were condemning pap, and because lee hsien loong was shitting his pants because elections were coming, but because I had taken down my video (yeah that was it), and that was a sign that I was ‘remorseful’ for my actions, and had experienced a ‘seismic shift’ in my attitude. Well, now the video is back online hung chun, so you can shove that ‘seismic shift’ up your ass.

Thank you BoomerangDog for reuploading my video while it was temporarily gone, but now it is back on my wonderful channel, with not only the video, but also the comments from biased-illogical-stupid-misinformed-bigoted-singaporean-government-dog-cunts for your viewing pleasure.

The longer the police takes to arrest me, the more crimes I’m going to commit, but really, that’s a good thing ain’t it? Boom boom boom motherfucker. I can feel you lee hsien loong trembling in your feet. Fear me lee hsien loong, fear me.

THREE GREAT MONEY LOSING MAN-MADE WONDERS OF SINGAPORE

$

Dear ASS Editors,

The world has seven Great Wonders of the World. PAP has created the three great money losing Wonders of Singapore. They are:

1. Gardens By The Bay which was built as a cost of $1.1B and needs $93m per year to maintain.

2. Esplanade Durian which is grossly under-used but costs a lot to maintain

3. The white elephant Sports Hub which costs $500,000 to convert from a football field to an athletics field

What a waste off money in creating white elephants. The pap has that dubious reputation!

HDB OWNSELF CREATE PROBLEMS, OWNSELF SOLVE OWNSELF?

Shorter leases to help rental households buy flats

I refer to the article “Shorter leases among options mooted to help rental households buy flats” (Channel NewsAsia, Dec 15).

New housing grant, 2nd loan

It states that “A new housing grant will help these second-timer families by reducing the amount they need to pay, while a second HDB concessionary loan will help those unable to get mortgage loans. Under the scheme, 2-room Flexi flats – currently only available to the elderly – may be offered on shorter leases to make them more affordable”.

Rentees’ problems caused by HDB policy changes?

The plight that most HDB renters may be in, in regard to their difficulty in buying a HDB flat, may arguably have been caused by the HDB itself – by its policy changes over the years.

2nd loan without conditions?

For example, as to the second HDB concessionary loan – the HDB should go back to its original policy of giving a second loan without the onerous conditions of requiring half the cash profits and all the CPF used plus accrued interest from the previous flat sale.

Affordable prices don’t need grants & shorter leases?

With regard to grants and flexi shorter leases to make the flats more affordable – we should go back to the original policy of not making huge profits by disclosing the construction and land costs, and not charging land at market rates.

HDB costs and prices in 1965?

In this connection, ES sent me the following from hansard on HDB costs in 1965:-

NATIONAL DEVELOPMENTHousing

The First Five-Year Housing Programme (1961-1965), produced 51 ,000 units of low-cost housing at the cost of $192 million. Together with 23,000 units built by former governments, they now house 400,000 persons or 23 per cent of Singapore’s population of 1.8 million. Under “Home Ownership for the People” Plan, 2,068 units at Queenstown have been sold to the public on instalment payments. Another 1,416 units at MacPherson Estate are being made available.

The Second Five-Year Housing Programme (1966-1970) aims to produce 60,000 units of low-cost housing in urban renewal and suburban areas at a cost of $268 million - output target 12,000 units a year. The number of units for sale under the Home Ownership Scheme to meet increasing demand will be decided upon.

The main construction activity will be concentrated in ToaPayoh, the new Satellite Town. It is an area of 620 acres of which 100 acres have already been cleared and construction on 3,500 units of housing commenced. ToaPayoh will ultimately provide 36,000 residential flats and shops for an expected population of million people. It is estimated to cost $150 million when completed by 1970.

Land Reclamation

Earth from ToaPayoh has been used to reclaim the swamp at the Kallang Basin. Eventually 400 acres of swamp land will be reclaimed and used for developing into an industrial estate for light industries. The cost of this development is estimated to be $28.5 million and the reclamation work is expected to be completed by 1969.

Another major reclamation project is the recovery of 1,000 acres of land from the sea on a strip along the east coast six miles long extending from Bedok to TanjongRhu. A coastal highway is proposed which will link the town centre with the eastern suburbs. The cost of reclamation alone is estimated to be $53 million. The removal of earth from the landward side will result in the preparation of some 600 acres of land for development.”

No resale levy?

Also, the HDB should go back to its original policy of not charging a resale levy of up to $50,000 on the purchase of a second flat.

Shorter term leases are expensive?

At the end of the day, it may be the HDB that makes even more profits – looking at the prices of the flexi short-term lease flats.

Create the problem, then say try to solve it?

The HDB should not in a sense, create the problem and then say that it shall try to help to solve the problem which it created itself, in the first place.

IS AMOS YEE SUFFERING FROM NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER?

<Commentary by Noor Shilla>

This boy is every parent's worst nightmare! Seriously!!

For such an intelligent young man, he is really making a mockery of himself and an embarrassment to his family. Why can't he channel his time, energy and creativity to good use instead of annoying the public to no end?

I am saddened when I read that people blame his parents and his upbringing for making him a brat. People assume that his parents must have submitted to his every whim and fancy and that escalated to him having this "I am entitled" attitude.

Yes Amos, you are entitled to your personal opinions and thoughts. You are entitled to have freedom of speech and freedom of expression. You can have your retarded comments posted on any social media of your choice. Yes, it is your prerogative to be your own man.

BUT WHEN YOUR ACTIONS HURT YOUR PARENTS, then it is no longer OK!

When your mother cries because of what you put her through, then you are in the wrong. When your family suffer shame and humiliation because of your stupidity, then you have insulted their honour. By the way, Amos, the world does not revolve around you or your distorted idea of fame. You see, we are not bothered by your ranting anymore. We do not care how you feel and which group of society you are going to criticise next. Your offensive analysis of everything and anything is a reflection of your own narcissistic personality disorder.

It is time you grow up, boy! Seriously, what a waste of brain cells...

M'SIAN WORKER: S'PORE CUSTOMS SHOULD WORK FASTER TO PREVENT JAMS AT CAUSEWAY

$

Dear Editors,

As a Malaysian working in Singapore, I am very frustrated with the extremely super long queues at the checkpoints everyday for the past weeks! I wake up so early in the morning, start to queue at the custom and what happens?

Your checkpoint authorities without informing closed the checkpoint to control the number of people flowing into Singapore? Thousands of us are trapped at the checkpoint, unable to enter Singapore for our jobs.

With no end to the wait, many of us had to make a U-turn and call in to take leave from our workplace. This is unfair to us. Why do you do this and mess up our plans? Why you cannot open or lanes or hire more people to speed up clearance? You are Singapore sure can very efficient rite?

I can only blame my own government for being useless, cannot provide me jobs at home. I please with checkpoint authorities, have pity on us and speed up your checks, it is getting ridiculous and having huge inconvenience on our daily lives! If not for the 3 : 1 exchange rate, I den dun wan to suffer like this everyday!

WHERE HAVE THE STATISTICS & DATA GONE?

$

0

I refer to the Corporate Communications, Ministry of Finance’s reply Govt more open in sharing data” (Straits Times, Dec 15) to the article S’pore can afford to be more open in sharing data” (Dec 11) by Asit K. Biswas and Kris Hartley.

It states that “As part of our Smart Nation journey, we continue to share data to improve services to citizens, create economic value, and promote research and the co-creation of solutions between government and society.

We will continue to make more data available in ways that are consistent with the need to protect individuals, enterprises and the public interest.”

The reply from the writers of the article, from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy said “For any country to advance, data should be readily available to the public and academics for independent scrutiny and research. In recent years, we have seen perceptible improvements in data availability.

We believe open discussions can only facilitate more and more availability of data that academics need for research. This will enable us to put forward regularly new and innovative policy alternatives for public consideration and discussion. Hopefully, many of these can eventually become government policies”.

Disappearing statistics?

What’s the point of being more transparent when some statistics seem to disappear, when they used to be published in the past? For example,

Applications & success rate statistics disappeared?

The ComCare annual report’s statistics did not give the number of applications for financial assistance and the success rate like in the past – which apparently has disappeared from this year’s report.

HDB

What is the breakdown of the costs (construction, land) to build HDB flats?

Wages

What is the median gross wage (excluding employer CPF contribution) for all Singaporean workers (full-time and part-time), instead of just “full-time employed residents”?

“Significant” data missing?

What’s the point of being more transparent when there may still be a lacking in transparency on the data which arguably impact Singaporeans’ lives significantly – which many Singaporeans have been asking repeatedly over the years?

For example,

Wages

What is the negative real increase in the median basic gross wage of low-wage occupations like cleaners, service and sales workers, security guards, etc, over the last 15 years? – negative over 15 years!

What is the real wage growth for the above, for the median and 20th percentile of workers, for the last 5, 10 years, etc?

Jobs

What is the breakdown of the “locals” statistics into Singaporeans and permanent residents (PRs) for total employment, employment change, long-term unemployed, etc?

University students

How many non-Singaporean students are there in the total enrollment of the local universities?

CPF

What is the Government Investment Corporation (GIC)’s nominal and real rates of return in S$ for the past 5, 10, 20 years and from inception?

What is the historical weighted average interest rate on all our CPF accounts?

How many Singaporeans (including inactive CPF members) were able to meet the CPF Minimum Sum (currently at $161,000) entirely in cash at age 55, without pledging property?

Healthcare

What is the total sum of subsidies given to public hospitals and community hospitals’ patients, relative to the total sum of the subsidies shown in patients’ bills?

What is the Medifund rejection rates for patients – not number of applications?

ComCare

How many Singaporean families have ever received financial assistance under ComCare, and how many have ever applied for ComCare?

Why can’t the ComCare annual report disclose the average amount of monthly financial assistance per household?

Reciprocate trust with more transparency?

Since the people have given their trust and mandate – shouldn’t we reciprocate by being more transparent?

JUDGE LEE ORDERS ROY NGERNG TO PAY S$150,000 FOR DEFAMING LEE HSIEN LOONG

$

In his written judgement released to members of the media, Judge Lee Seiu Kin ordered CPF activist blogger Roy Ngerng to pay Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong S$150,000 in damages for defamation.

The Judge said Ngerng was malicious and "cynically defamed" PM Lee so as to attract more viewers to his blog where he talks about CPF and financial issues.

He added that Ngerng's allegation that PM Lee misappropriated CPF monies was "one of the gravest that could be made against any individual, let alone a Head of Government".

In July, international watchdog Human Rights Watch slammed PM Lee Hsien Loong for behaving just like his deceased father, Lee Kuan Yew, in threatening his opponents with defamation lawsuits. He said that this defamation suit says a lot about Singapore's leaders disregard for freedom of expression and their insecurities.

Is S$150,000 damages a fair amount to pay for Roy Ngerng's genuine mistake? Shouldn't PM Lee be the bigger man and gift Roy Ngerng a get out of jail pass?

BUSINESS HAS BEEN POOR, HELP OUT THIS ELIAS MALL HAIRDRESSER

$

<Facebook shoutout by Lim Merlloyd>

I dont usually do this but please take some time to read. This is the least i could do to help someone

I went for my usual haircut at Elias Mall this afternoon. The shop is owned by an old couple and the main hairdresser is the husband. While having my haircut, the man received a call on his phone and he spoke in mandarin to the caller. From his response, I can roughly tell that the caller is the landlord and he/she is chasing for rent. The old man kept apologising and explained that business isn't too good recently.

He then ended the call and tried not to look affected as he continued with my haircut. But deep down i knew that he's feeling helpless and stressed out. I really sympathise with them given the fact that they're old and they have to struggle to make ends meet. Also, the phone that the old man was using was an old nokia model. Even maids these days own better mobile phones than him.

So to those who live in the east, help him out and visit his shop for a haircut, it's really not that bad at $12 per haircuit for males. His shop is called The Hair Secret and it is located at 625 Elias Rd, Elias Mall, level 2. He opens from 11am to 8:30pm everyday. He can be contacted at 91600226 - Johnson.

Take the escalator up from level 1, walk straight in and you should be able to spot the shop.

IF YOU WANT TO WORK IN S'PORE, BE PREPARED TO WAIT, DON'T COMPLAIN SO MUCH

Dear Editor's,

I'm a Malaysian who, like many others Malaysian, have to wake up very early in the morning and walk across to Singapore to work everyday due to heavy jammed on causeway.

http://www.allsingaporestuff.com/article/msian-worker-spore-customs-shou...

Regarding about yesterday jammed at checkpoint and also what i've read the article from Ho Seng, below are just my personal opinions:

1) Jam at causeway has been there for quite a very long time ago at both side of checkpoint and it's getting worse due to tight security check after the Paris incident recently and now school holiday and also festive season.

2) Because of the attractive currency exchanged rate, more Malaysian is coming and work in Singapore and more Singaporean travel in Malaysia for vacation or shopping.

3) Both checkpoint officer's has been very efficient and maintain their work procedures on theirs duty to make ensure everyone is safe when enter or exit the country, either Singapore or Malaysia and other countries as well.

As i've just mentioned, we (Malaysian's and Singaporean's), no matter on what purpose that we have to travel in and out through the checkpoints, either daily or occasionally, be well prepare and ready and also please do not blame and complaint about this or that when unpleasant situation happens. And also please do not say something politically sensitive subject to create unnecessary issue because Malaysia and Singapore are (Brother's) and very close to each other.

I hope and wish that Ho Seng able to understand what message that i'm trying to send to you, okay?

Well, i've just reach my working place in Singapore at East and now is 7:20am. I hope that my grade C English on this article won't cause you headache when reading. Wish you all enjoy the weekend.

ZOO STAFF USED EXCESSIVE FORCE AGAINST SHOW DOG AFTER IT MADE GIRL CRY?

$

Dear Editors,

I would like to highlight an incident that happened today, 17th December 2015 at the Singapore zoo, during the Animal Friends Show, at around 4.45pm.

After the show, there was a time for the visitors to pet the dogs, 2 Golden Retriever and 1 Japanese Spitz with three show personnel. Golden A was with an Indian man, Golden B was with a Chinese man and Japanese Spitz was with a Chinese girl.

I was petting Golden A at the left side with my girlfriend when I heard a girl crying at the other side of the stage. The Indian man immediately went over and grab hold of Golden B. Apparently, Golden B was biting on to the little girl hat and did not want to let go.

The next moment, I saw the Indian man grabbing the mouth and the flesh was pressing against the teeth so that the dog will let go of the hat. After Golden B let go of the hat, the Indian man continued to press into its mouth and Golden B started whining very loudly in pain. The Indian man still did not let go, instead, pressed even harder that Golden B whined even louder and could see that he was shaking in pain and his tail was tucked underneath.

If he can do this on stage with visitors around, I wonder what happens backstage when the animals misbehave? Are they being beaten or starved? I hope something will be done about this!

ANG MOH FT CALLS S'POREANS LAZY & ARROGANT, WANTS S'PORE TO DISAPPEAR OFF THE MAP

Adding to the ongoing debate after scores of Malaysians were forced to u-turn at the Singapore checkpoints yesterday, a foreign talent by the name of Fabrice Passicos, a French national gave his 2 cents on the foreigner situation in Singapore.

He says:

"Well, I'm a French person, and I worked in Singapore. Without Malaysian workers, Singapore would be in such trouble. I find Singaporeans people very lazy, very arrogant, and so often on sick leaves....

On top of it, Singapore is not even a good place where to live. Expensive, only concrete, unfriendly local people...

And on this forum, I can again read nasty comments against Malaysian people who struggle to go to work.

Singapore deserves to disappear from the map. Bunch of cowards, that's easier to hit poor Malaysian people rather than fighting your government which is a total dictatorship."

Why is Singapore welcoming such French foreign talents into Singapore? First he called all Singaporeans lazy, arrogant people who love to chao geng. Second he insists Singapore is an expensive shit place to live in. Third he says Singapore deserves to disappear from the map? Does he wish to terminate Singapore's existence?

Did Fabrice Passicos just followed in Edz Ello's footsteps by calling for the termination of Singapore's existence? Will the authorities take action against such seditious speech by an Ang Moh foreign talent?

Or was poor Fabrice's Facebook hacked? Singaporeans are watching.

TEO SER LUCK: MIGRANT WORKERS PREFER TO SLEEP WITHOUT MATTRESS BECAUSE IT IS MORE COMFY

$

Minister of State for MOM TeoSer Luck recently visited a migrant workers' dormitory in celebration of International Migrants Day.

When he visited their sparsely furnished sleeping quarters, he said: "Quite comfy! I learnt that some workers prefer to sleep without a mattress as they are used to it back in their home country. They find it more comfortable and cooler too!"

A foreign worker who read this responded by saying "Sir in our home we used to sleep at the mattress but here not for comfortable we r sleeping without mattress, it's just coz of wether so hot in the room. One room 12 person but only 2 fan. Is it possible to sleep in a mattress with 2 fan only? Dormitory management never allow more than 2 fan in the room. Anyway sir, we r happy to work in Singapore because we can work safely in Singapore as mom is giving us safe environment in our work place. But we will more happy if we get more comfortable dormitory life."

We can't help but wonder when he tried to lie on their bed - which is nothing more than a wooden plank - did he find it comfortable? Or does he sleep on an expensive pocketed coil mattress with luxurious silk bedsheets back at home? Is this another case of Ministers living up in their ivory tower where they think that the poor elderly folks on the street collecting cardboard boxes do it as a form of exercise?

PET LOVERS BEWARE! MY DOG DIED WHILE IN THE CARE OF PAWBOARDER PET SITTER

<Facebook complaint by Liana Tjio‎>

Posting for awareness. I placed my three dogs at Pawboarder.sg for 4 days whilst I was overseas. I was charged me $400 and I paid up front in full. The person in charge is Jenn Yap. Whilst in her care, she killed one of my dogs. The below correspondence from her to me is evidence of this.

Apart from being a beloved family member (and my 8 year old's precious companion), my dog is a Sgp and Thailand champion with a documented champion bloodline pedigree. Thus she is very valuable, not only monetarily, but also to the betterment of the breed.

I was willing to keep this quiet and seek private settlement but as soon as the agreement was ready to sign, Jenn Yap disappeared and cannot be contacted.

A police report has been lodged to document this nasty incident and it turns out she has since accused me of hassrassment???? - for trying to contact her to come to a settlement agreement.

Furthermore, she has left my poor dog's body in cold storage at Mt Pleasant Vet hospital and I am not able to get her out to have her funeral.

As such, I have now contacted my lawyer and this is going to court!

Please think twice before using this pet-sitter, dog boarding service as your beloved pet may not make it out alive.

Former RVHS principal Koh Yong Chia was convicted of providing false information to the senior MOE official about his extramarital affair with school vendor Loke Wai Lin. Koh had over a 7 year period awarded $3.2 million worth of contracts to companies owned by Ms Loke.

Koh was principal of JJC from January 2003 to December 2009. After which he transferred to River Valley High School in Dec 2009. Ms Loke was the director and majority shareholder in companies EA 21 and EI which provided education services to schools.

Ms Loke was with TCS when she first approached Koh Yong Chia to take part in an overseas community project in 2000. Soon a mutual attraction developed between the two and they had sex during a school trip to Lijiang, China. Loke subsequently divorced her husband in 2005.

During Koh's seven year reign as Principal in JJC and RVHS, he was the final approving authority for contracts and failed to disclose his intimate relationship with Ms Loke. After an anonymous complaint in 2004, he was called up for interview and lied to the investigating official.

DPP G Kannan urged the Judge to impose a custodian 4 to 6 weeks imprisonment on Koh who had abused his "apex position" in a public institution.

S'POREAN BOSS: LOCALS ARE LAZY & DEMANDING, NO DRIVE TO PROVE THEMSELVES

Dear Editors,

i'm singaporean and i run a company that is in the service industry. i've been reading allsingaporestuff.com whenever i'm free and i realised that theres a lot of complaints about foreign talent and jobs in singapore. I agree on some issues that we need to look at the numbers to make sure that we do not spoil the singapore culture, that we as singaporeans all have secured jobs. However i'd like to point out that in general, Singaporeans are LAZY and demanding.

There are many available jobs out there for you. At interviews, when i describe the working hours, a foreign talent will say " Yes,i'm okay with that" a singaporean will tell me " wah, so long ah" When i negotiate salaries with foreigners, they tell me " yes, i'm willing to work" a singaporean will tell me "i need higher salary because i'm this and this" Yes, your grades are good, you come from a decent university but what have you proven to the company thus far? What have you done to show that you're different from the foreign candidate? Why should i hire you over the foreigner if you're both going to be doing the same job but one is okay with longer hours, and a lower salary?

I'm more than willing to hire singaporeans. I'm open to paying them a little more than a foreigner because i believe that singaporeans deserve it over a foreigner anytime BUT it must be proven first. Instead of complaining, why dont you guys just buckle down and work at proving that singaporeans can really work instead of just complaining and demanding.

HIGH SALARIES WILL PREVENT CORRUPTION, REALLY?

$

Dear Editors,

What do the following people have in common?

Wee Toon Boon, Phey Yew Kok, Teh Cheang Wan, SCDF Commissioner Peter Lim, Principal Koh Yong Chiah, MFA Chief of Protocol Lim Cheng Hoe

PAP claimed that paying high salaries to politicians and civil servants will prevent corruption.

We have seen many civil servants committing money and sexual corruption despite their high salaries. Can we trust what the PAP preach? High salary equals no corruption? How true is this?
